The Quilt On My Porch

We are finally having some warm fall weather and I have spent countless hours outside.  I am tearing up all of my flower gardens and starting over.  It has been a large task, but I'm excited for all the new plants and landscaping ideas I have.  One idea I have had in my head for a long time is to put a quilt on display on my front porch.  Now this quilt is an antique with some wear my sister gave me on my birthday.  I just love it outside!  I'm excited to display quilts every now and then in the beautiful sunshine!  Next Spring we are remodeling the front porch...oh I can't wait for the possibilities!
I also want to share with you a new blog my crafty friend and past 4-H'er has started...

She has some great ideas to share and I'm thrilled she started blogging!

What a beautiful old quilt! I just love vintage quilts! I've got quite a stash of them, unfortunately no front porch!
