Busy Days

The Wood County 4-H Quilter's donated over fifty quilts to the Neonatal Unit at St. V's Hospital recently.  Nurse Angie came to the Extension Office for a special presentation.  I'm so proud of my quilters!  Great job everyone!

This past weekend we had the Blackswamp Quilt Guild's Retreat in Carey, Ohio.  What fun we had!  I managed to get binding on a quilt that has been needing it for two years.  I also finished a wall hanging for my office.  I thought seasonal quilted items would be fun to share with co-workers.  I will post pictures of these items in a few days:)

Last night was 4-H Spirit Night.  A celebration of the accomplishments of all of our outstanding members.  You can see highlights of the evening, elected officals thoughts on 4-H and the 2011 4-H video on our blog.../http://woodcounty4hoh.wordpress.com/

Sounds like fun! One of my sons was born at St. V's and received an ABC quilt--he still keeps it on his wall.
