Things to "Wonder" about!

Life is busy and wonderful. My Aunt Linda and I had a sewing and crafting day and finished my "One Block Wonder" quilt. It was such fun! The fabric is a Robert Kaufman design. All I need to do now is get it quilted and add the binding. I'm thrilled with the results. (It has a few wrinkles in this picture from traveling around:)

Mom also made a "One Block Wonder" quilt. She added the fun cubes in the quilt and on the borders. It really turned out beautiful. I was thrilled to share these projects with my quilt group the "Black Swamp Quilters" in Northwest Ohio last week. Thanks for letting me share!

It has been an eventful time to say the least. The holidays are coming and everyone is preparing for next Thursday's big celebration. I know I am going to work extra hard at the gym this week so I can eat some extra pumpkin pie!

I want to extend a special thanks to Chris at Shady Grove! I was thrilled to win her recent contest. Be sure to check out her blog it is really inspiring.

Tonight I visited with a special friend. I watched her and her husband grow up in the 4-H program. They now have been married for five years and have two adorable children. It is so nice to be a part of their lives even after they have "graduated" from our programs. I treasure their friendship. Be sure to contact a friend today and let them know you care.

Blessings until next time,
Jenna Louise

I love both quilts - and how nice that you and your mom both quilt.
