For Mom

I guess we never know what is going to happen when we wake in the morning. Last week I had to visit the Doctor for some throat issues I was having. Little did I know that I would have a procedure done the next morning and Mom was there to help me through. A few days later Mom had a bad spell and spent an evening in the hospital. We are both doing well and managed to see a small quilt show at the Perrysburg Library in the middle of our medical issues:) This post is for Mom, I love her so much and I don't where I would be without her. She taught me so many things about life and shared with me her love of sewing, I am forever grateful!

Mom - Rita on her wedding day

I took Mom to my Art Quilt group meeting. This month we were to make something with crayons. I shaved them, melted them on fabric then sprinkled embellishments and more savings on the fabric. I layered it with netting and quilted everything together. It was fun to share and see everyone's creations. Next month is creating something with a vision of "vacations".

Thanks Mom! I love you much! Take time this week to thank everyone you love
for being who they are! Blessings to all!

Hi Jenna
You and I have more in common than quilting, which we have both known for quite a while - we have terrific Moms. I appreciate all your thoughts, prayers and friendship.
You have quite a special Mom - and she has more than a special daughter. You are friends and that is unique, don't you agree??
Much love to you
Blondie
