Summer is so busy in the 4-H world! We have been having numerous judgings and tomorrow is our style revue with over 75 garments and quilt display! I'm thrilled to have twenty-five 4-H'ers and volunteers making quilts for community service! Here is the one I made for the project.
Each year we select a group to donate our quilts to. This year I let the participants select someone special or an organization they felt would enjoy a quilt. We will have a special program to present the quilts to recipients this Fall. I'm thrilled to bring the art of quilting to such a large audience. I will post more pictures in the next few weeks.
Here is a few pictures of my first sunflowers. They are so beautiful. I can't imagine summer without them.
Thank you so much for letting me share my little corner of the world! May the sun shine down on your face and bring warmth to your heart!

Love the sunflowers and your service in 4-H. Keep up the great work.
I love that quilt! it is so great of you to do the 4h thing with the kids. A lot of women I know that are big quilters and garment makers started in 4-h....Oh and yeah, I nominated you for an award...go to my blog when you have time! Melinda
